I think I've known all three phrases, but I don't recall seeing or hearing "pleased as Punch" anywhere outside of a book on curious phrases. At least I've known about Punch & Judy since junior high.

They aren't. At least, not where we live. But apparently these things are geographically affected.I've heard all three phrases on a regular basis, I didn't realize they were obscure.Next you're going to tell me you've never heard "tickled pink" or "happy as a clam" before.

Cameron is awesome because:
-Because he has an artistic style that is both complex and minimalist. This is profound!
-He once drew me as a roadrunner. It was an actual honest to god feral roadrunner, but a roadrunner nonetheless!
-He lives in Idaho among the wilderness and stuff and I envy him for that. 3:
-He is probably one of the most personable artists on here.
-I think he's the only one of us on here who drew a fanart that made it as a guest strip on O&M. This is an accomplishment!
[quote]Though no two shows are quite alike and the story has evolved a lot in the last four centuries, the traditional plot has Mr Punch kill his infant child, then beat his wife Judy to death. He is thrown in prison but escapes using a golden key. He then kills a policeman, a doctor, a lawyer, the hangman, death and the Devil. He murders everyone with huge pleasure, each time squeakily repeating his catchphrase, “That’s the way to do it!â€
Procrastinators unite! (tomorrow...)
It's a reference to the classic children's puppet character Punch, abusive husband to Judy, who is typically depicted as a grinning, raving, lunatic, and eaten by a crocodile by the end of the play, isn't it?
...And who's catchphrase is, iirc, "That's not the way to do it"

-He made the absolute nicest comments about me in the other topic. I didn't respond to them yet, because I suck, but they are greatly appreciated! =D
-I would say he would also be a good runner up as one of the nicest people alive.
-He joined the IRC sometimes. But not enough, I say! Chat moar =D
-He is evidently only 18 year old but he could easily pass for 25. =D
-He is a drummer like *I* am and this in itself is cool.
