Well, I bought 4 of the new books at least. Maybe I'll donate, but that will take a while because I first have to transfer money to my PayPal account from my bankaccount. There's no way I'll let a bunch of crooks like PayPal near my credit card #.

EDIT: Paypal now wants me to permanently tie my bank account to my Paypal account before I can transfer money to it, which I'm definitely not going to do. I wish Google or something would make a decent, non-fraudster alternative.

I've never had a problem with paypal in all the 3 years I've used them.

I don't even know how to use paypal or how this "money" thing gets through the internet.

I don't feel like a Luddite anymore.

Cameron is awesome because:
-Because he has an artistic style that is both complex and minimalist. This is profound!
-He once drew me as a roadrunner. It was an actual honest to god feral roadrunner, but a roadrunner nonetheless!
-He lives in Idaho among the wilderness and stuff and I envy him for that. 3:
-He is probably one of the most personable artists on here.
-I think he's the only one of us on here who drew a fanart that made it as a guest strip on O&M. This is an accomplishment!

I haven't either, personally, but that's because I hardly ever use it. No, I dislike Paypal because

- They have a habit of siding with buyers on Ebay when there is a dispute, without looking into the issue at all. Sellers almost always lose out.

- They handle people's money, yet are not bound to the same regulations that banks are bound to

- More specifically, this

I used to be able to send money to them from my bank account, but I'm just not comfortable with actually tieing my account to my paypal account. They want me to authorize them to take money out of my account, on first glance. With their history I don't trust them with that.

I had the same problem. Now I'm waiting for them to send me some small amount of money so I can confirm it. I think it's very strange that I wasn't notified of this change, but it's the only way I can buy O&M books...

If anyone knows of a way I can send them money like I used to, without giving them permission to take money from my account straight away, I'd be very glad. :)

Here is fine, there is good, but DC is my home (IRC is my vacation home that I visit more often than a normal person visits a vacation home.)
