April Fool's Day

Postby Muninn » Sun Apr 01, 2007 9:39 pm

What? No one posted a topic on this yet?

Come on people let's hear any wacky stories you may or may not want to tell of you being fooled or fooling someone.

I had a dream that I posted a fake obituary of myself here on April Fools Day as a pretend brother of mine and at the end of the day I explained that it was an April Fools joke. Some people got upset and I got banned from the forum by a moderator. Weird Dream!

MODS: Would this happen to me if I really did something like this?

In other news, April Fools! :-P

Ever play Animal Crossing on April 1? Those cute neighbors and servicepersons come up with the dorkiest fibs.

This year, only one source has fooled me for any length of time, and I saw it a day early. Happy 50th anniversary, BBC spaghetti hoax! (That sounded awkward, didn't it.)

Also happy 10th anniversary to my aunt and David Packard!

I had quite a lot of fun this April Fools. Hehe, the only one that really got me was a friend of mine who 'came out' as being gay. Haha, I didn't realize at 2 am that it was technically April 1st. After that, nobody else got me. :P

I got a few people, though. Haha, I have my own forum that I run, and I told everyone that I was shutting it down. Also, I kinda posted this to my FA account.

I loooove April Fools day, so long as people don't take it too far.

...Anybody notice Google having their fun?

Not sure if I did it on an April Fool's Day, but I pointed some of my friends to here. It's a rather lengthy personality test, but it should only take about 15 minutes (or 10, if you're fast). The results are rather humorous.

I was going to do a kind of "I'm leaving and I probably won't be back" sort of prank this time, but I got lazy.

Correction to my earlier post: Octan fooled me. I didn't know until today.

Lessee, Jack fooled me into thinking he was a completely different person, and Octan fooled me into thinking he was a corporate whore. :O

Nobody fooled me yesterday! I'm obviously too smart.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

I really thought about doing that here and finally saying I'm alive weeks later. That would be SWEET.
