Story premise (critical eye needed)

A place to talk about anything (that doesn't belong in the other forums).

How do you plan to introduce all this info into the story? It seems pretty complicated and in-depth, not that there's anything wrong with that, but it just seems a bit too much for a comic.

This is more for my reference for when I write the script. There'll be some key parts of the story that revolve around what happened in the past, and how it relates to the story.

Also, if this thing DOES happen, and it does ok, I'll be tempted to draw the history as a side-story :wag:

Wow, me and my pipedreams....did I say dreams? I meant bombs. Pipebombs. Of firey napalm death.

It's good to have a lot of backstory and a lot of ideas, even if you don't include even half of them. I find it helps a lot to keep the story from being too awkward. It's building a foundation, so that your house doesn't end up crooked.

Historically, the British Navy has never been something to underestimate.

Yes, I know that. But as of right now the United States Navy is the most powerful in the world. ^^
(I am going into the USN after all)

Remember that this is a time when there isn't enough fuel to launch many aircraft (right at the beginning of the war, before it ALL gets used there's still a wee bit)

The British and Norweigan fleets are a lot more geared up towards traditional styles of naval warfare than the US "Missiles and Aircraft" stuff.

Also remember that "most powerful" doesn't nessiserily mean "best at the job"

Okay, that kinda hurt me personally. :(

I will try not to take it that way though, as I can very easily understand that fantasy is supposed to bend reality. It doesn't need to make perfect sense or be 100% realistic.
I look forward to this project of yours Roo.

It shouldn't have; it's true. Francis Drake wins.
