I forgive you :D

You can get on....just use the other server or use my java applet I linked to. I am online right now so if anyone needs help getting to DC from my applet just let me know and I will assist you. But please give me time to respond (doing a lot right now).....so it may be a couple min till I see your in there.~

Has the problem been fixed? I tried my usual way of going to the chat and it worked fine with Chatzilla.(

I don't think it's fixed, I think it just hasn't broken yet. :P

We are definatly not "Fixed" yet....Services are down (with a little luck that will be fixed tonight). As far as connecting to the server I am not exactly sure what happened. Unfortantly I am currently at school, and have not had time to talk to shadow. But it looks like shadow has adjusted our DNS overnight.....so it is possible that everything except services is fixed. But for the time being just assume that it is not fixed and if you have any issues just connect as stated above. I will let you guys know more when I get home and get to talk to Shadow to see where he is, and where we look like were going.

Thanks for putting up with all this stuff, and sorry if I am flooding the thread with these little details.....-

Okay....now that I have been home and had time to re-asses the situation. Things seem to be going pretty smooth at this point. I have got a new nameserver, and our DNS records are being adjusted as we speak.

With a little luck we will get my server setup tonight with services and as the main hub.

Plan for things to be a bit rocky for the next couple days. And I imagine speeds on the IRC server will be a bit poor for probably the next week. But we will get it all worked out soon.

I will keep you guys updated, but I think at this point you wont have any issues connecting to the server like you normally do. If for some reason you do have problems just look at the above instructions.

Can you add SSL support while you're messing around with stuff? My college blocks IRC connections by content. :(

Services are back online......we should be up 100% now (as far as the chat service is considered). Let me know if you have any problems with anything because services have been rebuilt from scratch. Also due to that you will be forced to re-register your nicknames. If you need help doing this please just type:
/msg nsrv help
or
/msg nickserv help
other IRC clients may have other options, but both those commands will work for sure.

Thanks for holding with us during all that, let me know if you have any problems or questions....

p.s. Glad to have it all done :wag:
