I was wondering if if this problem has happened to anyone on the forums.
Before we moved to definecynical.net, I hosted my pictures of my avatar on my AOL journal. But then we moved to definecynical.net and my pictures wouldn't show up in the avatar space anymore. (They would just not show up or come up as a red X.) So I decided to find an image hosting site to move my pictures to. So I found imagefiasco.com and moved all of my artwork over there, but I didn't back it up.
So, needless to say that imagefiasco.com don't exist or was removed or whatever you call it. When I click on the link I get a 404 and the description talks about wood furniture. The place where I found the site has it removed from their directory. So basically I lost most of my friends artwork in the process.

The site is gone gone gone gone gone don't bother trying to access it again because it's likely gone for good.
Anything I put on my website or the Internet in general I have mirrored locally, as a rule, unless I wouldn't care if I lost it.
In fact, I also store an extra copy of my website on my thumb drive (complete with a portable web server

So you don't have it on your computer or anything?

I can't help you get them back, but I've always used http://Imageshack.net for all my image hoasting needs. It's a little bit akward to set up an account, but very reliable. And the Firefox Imageshack toolbar you can download is really usefull.
