There are two ways of getting to it. One way is following the <a href='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/chat.html' target='_blank'>Chat</a> link in the header. That is the java applet chat. <br><br>The other, less simple way is to download an IRC chat client ( <a href='http://www.mirc.com' target='_blank'>http://www.mirc.com</a> ), and connect to irc.acidchat.net. From there, join the channel "#definecynical".<br><br>My nick on the chat is usually _5hfifty, but when I'm sleeping it's _5hleep, and when I'm at school it's _5chool. Java thing works for me and I'm at school, well rather work AT school, but the same limitaions apply. Try running the java one instead of the DL.<br><br>um... nevermind. oops!

Just did a quick test at work. Works o.k. on this old beater of a system. I look forward to giving it a more extensive test tonight. My congratulations 5hfifty on being the most responsive admin that I have ever seen! OOOppss! Gotta go back to work!

It'd look more organized and you can get to talk to the other members. After dealing with issues on my home comp. I managed to get it to work at home. Talked with Msj for about an hour when suddenlly I think she disconnected and it said connection "reset by Peer." I wonder is it a problem with the server? My system at home? (I'm going to reboot to find out), or by Msj's system. Update in a couple of minutes after reboot.<br><br>Rebooted, used the applet and found 4 others who said that they had been in the room a long time. It apeared that a netsplit had occoured. Still no sign of Msj.<br>

The server isn't always up all the time, so if it's not working, just try again later on.<br><br>I should put some instructions of certain features and stuff.

I was just trying server port 7000, which seems to be on, but I can't connect.<br>"Connected to server, please wait..."<br>"Close connection"<br>"Connecting to ~~~~~~~"<br>"Connected to server, please wait..."<br>"Close connection"<br><br>I connect, but it won't let me stay on. Maybe it's because I'm at school. I'll try when I get home.
