Its an iteresting result, although like all things russia has ever tried it was a failure.

What about their rich history of literature?

Okay I'll give them that, but communist, and post communist Russia = lame

A simple term I refer to this: controlled evolution. Basically, they evolved a fox into something like a dog.

Even without the USSR, I seriously doubt the Nazis could have defeated the rest of Europe, the British Commonwealth, and the USA.

Anyway, fascinating, I wouldn't mind having a tame fox either, but I would want it to look like a fox.

Even without the USSR, I seriously doubt the Nazis could have defeated the rest of Europe, the British Commonwealth, and the USA.

They actually could of, those Tiger tanks were pretty nasty; quick, heavy, a powerful gun, and the steel plating was far superior. Plus they lost only because of a few key mistakes (Paris anyone?).

I disagree. If Hitler had planned things better, the war might have lasted longer, however the Germans would have eventually lost due to the sheer size advantage the Allies had...more manpower, and more scientists to develop technologies to fight with.

And let's not forget Canada was a large factor in the war, though we're often overlooked.

I know Canada was involved but for some reason no one ever (will at school in the US anyway) tells you there involvement, other than they were there ans had troops.

If Hitler had planned things better, the war might have lasted longer, however the Germans would have eventually lost due to the sheer size advantage the Allies had...more manpower, and more scientists to develop technologies to fight with.

If Hitler had listened to his generals instead of his pride, Russia would have collapsed, saving Germanay from its recurring nightmare: the two front war...

Also King Tigers and jet-engined fighers are quite superior to anything we had to throw at them, if they had time to develop the jets and test the King Tigers properly, we might not have won

Hmm, I really doubt it. Most of the 20 million weren't soldiers, they were civilians killed either by Nazi or Soviet artillery or air strikes, the cold, or disease. Also, given the CCCP commisar's tendency to veiw falling back as a crime, I'd really like to know how many of that 20 million were shot by their own side for retreating.

But whatever the potential outcome, the ifs, the buts, the maybes, the fact is that WE won. The allies kicked the living crap out of the worst scurge humanity has ever seen the likes of.

There is no way that such crimes against humanity that the Nazis are responsible for could have been "created" by anyone. There is no way for that many people to be involved in it. Either the holocaust happened like everyone reckons it did, or it is the largest and most intricate conspiracy in the history of the Universe.
