Also I think any mod/admin who would be interested in being on the panel gets automatic admittance. But yeah, a lot of people might be gone this week so nothing's set in stone in terms of signups until next weekend or so.

EDIT: Suggestion: what if there were a deadline to sign up, and when the deadline is reached a public poll goes out so everyone can decide who is best for the panel?

Ah yes, that's a really good suggestion, Giz. Also maybe the Most Flammable award or something. Heheh.

I suppose if there's any help needed on the panels for choosing these award nominees, I could lend a helping hand. Just keep in mind I run a very unpredictable (and frequently busy) work schedule, but I answer my PMs.

Okay - people who have, in one way or another, volunteered so far are Jacob, Miles, Tabris, Rooster, RKNiner, Bocaj, Tai, javsthemute and Doog sorttaaa. OK the deadline for volunteering is Wednesday, November 29th. Then a poll will be put up. Well, unless we get like 15 people volunteering (somehow) before then, then the deadline will be shortened.

It'll be pretty simple. Those who can come to a chat conference to discuss it will come, and those who cannot will be PM'd and the list of ideas/nominees will be run by them. I don't think there will be any serious disagreements over this, really. Just mostly ideas.
