I suggest we devise a way to slowly drive him insane. More insane than he already is, I mean.

Good idea! I know I'd go insane if someone poked me over and over and over and I couldn't do anything about it.

What does depress me is that we still practice hanging. It's so old-fashioned and so... crude.
It follows suite with the Judgement at Nuremburg; though Saddam requested death by firing squad earlier in the trial, death by hanging was decided to be the standard for those sentanced to death for crimes against humanity.

I don't feel like saying anything in this thread, since I know nobody's going to decide to be against the death penalty just because I'm opposed to it. Guess just voicing that opinion against it is all that I need to say. I am however, amazingly confused by this contradiction:
i'm stricly against d. penalty, but would agree if they decided to take him to a torture chamber

ah, so it's not so much of a moral opposition as a "he deserves worse punishment" belief. I understand now.

There's a reason I said that death's too good for him. Image

I don't beleive that anyone has the right to take an individual's life away, no matter the individual's actions.

However, if his death means that the Iraqi Insurgents will stop shooting at my mate in the Royal Signal Corps, then kill away. I don't know Saddam, and I don't really care. I just want my friends to come home.

"Make sure that he is dead. Or insane. Or perhaps one, then the other."

Who can tell me the source of that quote without a Net search?

Yes, but eating pork, bacon, or ham isn't a major offense according to your religion.

Though really,
BTW i'm stricly against d. penalty, but would agree if they decided to take him to a torture chamber, or to permanent confinement so he can rot.
What are your thoughts of the actions of U.S. troops in Abu Ghraib Prison?

Hell yeah.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...
