Kharma hates me

Postby Rooster » Sat Oct 28, 2006 1:11 pm

So first my camera explodes, then I break my favourite pair of glasses (and the only ones that fit just right), and NOW I've chipped my tooth.

I mean, what did I do to piss kharma off?

And Greg. I find that karma is a cruel and malicious [profanity] and just randomly makes people miserable. Or I may be thinking of fate.
That which does not kill me, cripples me for life.

Wikipedia says "karma" can refer both to man's actions, and to the alleged tit-for-tat consequences of them, although I was always taught only the former definition was officially valid, and that the latter notion of "instant karma" was a misconception created by Westerners (see "My Name Is Earl").

"Dharma," meanwhile, refers either to the natural order or the spiritual truths one is expected to adhere to. The rules of the game, if you will.

Or the John Lennon song.
