I bet I can think up some original Semi-coherent wisdom of my own. I mean it's 1:30a... I say the most amusing things in IRC when I'm tired, like now... let's see..

It is better to be run over by a truck than it is to accidentally drop your pudding in lard.

How's that?

DCS should've ended the comic a year or two ago.

It's on the home page now. Announcements about the strip have pretty much dropped off her LiveJournal since she locked it.
This was at the height of the dotcom fever, and I felt the need to poke fun at the hubris of techie types. Stephan exists, in fact, almost entirely as a vehicle for that, which is why I don't use him as much anymore.
Pity. I'll bet there's still plenty of material for an Internet obsessee. Just... different material.

I would buy it if I didn't have a way to get all the strips for free.

yeah, but I believe the point is that many people preffer to have them all in a physical format (I remember one user once said he printed out tons of strips and made a home-made book  ) or want to have them for when they're not online. Also, the books come with lots of extra bits you can only get by purchasing the books.

Not to mention you're also supporting the artist. (DCS does get some profit from book sales, right?)

Yes, DCS is getting profits for this book. We are helping DCS continue with her addiction to eat and live...

It's thanks to the physical format and my "here. Read this" approach that my close friends are now addicted to Ozy and Millie.
