maybe you should try something simpler than shapes for guidelines, 5hfifty.

how about lines, lines are always good.

look, you don't even need to draw the legs at first :P

this is the finished result.

this can work for drawing just about anything with limbs, so just modify it for your needs,

and, so this post isn't totally irrelevant, I bring you... *drumroll* A NINJA!!!

P.S. FanaticFox, your drawings have been exploding my eyes for a while now and, for that, I thank you,

Awww thanks! I tried to create a style that looks fun and is fun to draw. Took me 3 damn years of stress and experimentation but it was worth it. I just like using my art to get a smile/laugh out of people.

FanaticFox, for some reason your style reminds me of those edgy cartoons they put on Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network nowadays, with a little bit of Ren and Stimpy thrown in for good measure. You should look into learning animation somewhere and then go into TV animation; they'd be jazzed to have you.
I think octan should join in the doodling!
I probably should. It's been a while. *fires up OpenCanvas*

See, I can be edgy too! Heh, now that's just odd.

Wow! Lots of awesome drawings up today! :D FanaticFox, you do have quite the fluid style there. I like it. 5hfifty, I think you are making a lot of progress with your body shapes. I look forward to seeing how your next one will look with gen200's advice, which by the way, looks like some very useful tips there. And finally, as always, I am pleased to see Octan back to posting stuff in here. :)

Oh wow you really believe that? Man this by far is the most ego boosting and nicest comment I have ever been given. Means a lot for me. I just need to learn how to animate with constuction. I still to this day have never used construction.

Great doodle yourself man. Your art never ceases to be anything else but awesome. You sure are edgy too!

Great jobs, everybody! Keep it up!

Here's one I did in the last couple days. I based the poses off of a picture I saw online.

But what would they say about the drugs?

Nice pis everyone. 5hifty, your really making these characters look cool. If any of them are in your comic project, I would love to read the comic.

Octan, love your style. it's cartoony, yet a little serious. Like a diffrent version of Roosters. I love when cartoons get serious. and that is edgy.

and Jerry, as much as I dislike Pokemon (dodges incomicng hates) I like the drawing.

Pfft. Have you seen some of the cartoons that are out these days? They all use 'em.
