CC, I usually like purple and blue, but you might have gone overboard here. I'm thinking not enough contrast with the character colors, especially in Panel 1. Of course, you've done nothing to detract from the characters' own appearances.

Shame. The bill is going to have a problem getting passed through the Mudd Household Congress without being hidden in a more acceptable bill, such as "Changing March to the Ms. Mudd Appreciation Month" bill.
