About what happened in the IRC channel earlier...

I care. I don't like people dying, I don't like war. I don't like conflict. Maybe I am too cynical. But I'm also very passionate. And right now I feel crap. I didn't want to annoy anyone, I just... I just try to make a difference. I want to make a difference. And maybe I get too carried away and drag people into my own frustration, I don't know. I'm sorry for doing that... It's just hard to take when you care so much for peace and happiness, and people just say you should shut up.

I guess I should stick to my usual weird self, it seems you all liked me better that way.

I'm sorry.

Try to make a difference. Just explain everything out so that it makes sense. I among others were trying to figure out what you meant, and why you felt that way. It was a rather radical idea, and tempers boiled over, nothing more.

Protip - anyone involved please do not continue the discussion on the fourms, confine it to at the least pms/private IRC chatrooms. We do not need to have the drama spill onto the fourms for Ruedii v2. Keep a cool head, and perhaps post a thread with the TOPIC MATTER instead of the screw yous, and maybe this can be a valid discussion.

From what I understand, this was the result of some charged political debate that became too heated and resulted in a few other chatters demanding it simply stop.

I generally frown upon the notion of making an appeal to the forum over things that occur on the chatroom as the two are seperate entities. Even though there is some overlap in the staff and community, it is not quite a complete one, and appeals here to what goes on there will mostly leave members here clueless and members there upset.

This appeal was made without any official response from an OP or any other channel staff and should be subjected to their judgement before bringing anything up here publicly. Also this appeal leaves out much information concerning the details of the chatroom behavior, behavior that is inappropriate for displaying on the forum.

I wasn't online at the time this occured, but I am one of the OP's in the chatroom, and I think an official rule should be placed that keeps strong politcal discussions out. I'm not saying being politcally involved is a bad thing, but if history has taught me anything, there are always a few members who grow upset or take offense over political chat. It's for this reason I think matters involving debatable politics should be saved for Private Message, or someplace else.

Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

I decided to vent my emotions in another way instead, and it's a way you're probably all familiar with. I hope you like this... this one in particular means a lot to me right now.

And I'm really sorry if I caused so much trouble. I never meant to.

No, those were already in the original. See here:

http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2002/om20020911.html

I realise the original strip was to remember the WTC disaster, but that doesn't really mean much to me personally. However the general meaning of the strip does, those words reflect almost exactly how I feel right now (save for the religious content, as I'm an atheist).

me too, but I like the song. really, the entire song is satirical and saying that USA has god on it's side because we've always won in our wars. link

CC, You entirely ROCK! That's my favorite strip out of the entire collection, even if it's not really funny. Excellent coloring on an excellent picture. *saves*
I'm here, you just can't see me!

Triggerpoint is my not so new webcomic, and currently under heavy work before it resurfaces.

Agreed, though this is something to be decided by the mods and admins; I have too much indoctrination about gag orders ">
