Technically, that's pronouncing it as a double consonant. That's not allowed from what I recall in English Latin format. If it were Zed, it would actually have to be a word, rather than a letter, and it would be the only letter with a double consonant, so...
How would you go about pronouncing H, W and X then?
Rather late reaction, I know. ^.^|l' That's a good point. Perhaps it was a consonant that had a vowel in between two consonants. I mean, after all, you need three letters to spell "Z"? That's just kinda weird..!
