i come lately to this discussion, so i'm gonna respond to things from several points earlyer in the discussion.

(in no real order:)

congrats on talking with your parents.

something htat many people find very helpful is joining a suport group sort of thing. you might see if there is a gay-straight allaince group that meets near you. more and more schools are having them, and depending on where you live there may be chapters of national or regoinal organizations nearby. the great thing about such a group is the supportive enviroment there, and you can talk to people who may have gone through similar things.

drat, i had more to say, but the coherency meter has hit about rock bottom right now. i'll post again later if i can get around to expressing myslef better and if it still seems relevent.

so, 'gay-straight allaince' is a short hand form of: 'gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, transvestite, asexual, straight, questioning' allance. (i actually have seen some acronyms hwich manage ot incorporate all [ociasionally using synomyms], but i can't remember how they made it work into somethig pronouncable)

YAY! I have a working theory then. This is something I plan to do a little more research on. I've done many other studies in the fields of asexuality ever since the people in sex edu. taught me of it. Though at this point I still don't know my own stance on the issue. Guess i might be one too . Anyway the best of luck to you. And so enjoyed to hear your parent(s) are accepting of it!
