Has anyone here played the .Hack// saga? Myself, I never finished it. I own all four of the origional game, but I never beat the final disk. I'm replaying it now because I decided to look up new information on .Hack//G.U.
It wasn't a big hit, but it is a great game and G.U. looks great.

Here is where I get most of my games from. They are saying that it's being shipped 10/24/06. I really hope that they don't push it back much farther than that.

I have, all four of the original games and beat them. All the gameplay of a MMORPG without the monthly fee. .Hack//G.U. looks like it is going to be 10 times better than the original ones. Needless to say, I'm stoked.

Also, I think you should look into the .Hack//ROOTS anime series, considering it's a direct prequel to G.U., Unlike .Hack//SIGN.

G.U. takes place 7 years after the end of the first series of games. A year or so before G.U. starts the building in which the servers for The World are located burns down. Taking data from another game they were developing, CC Corp creates The World:R2. But all is not right in the world, as Player Killers dominate the game. Haseo, the main character, is known as a PKK(Player Killer Killer, as in he defeats PKers). He learns of a PKer whose victims never return after being PKed, and sets out to eliminate him. And so the game begins.

The game has already been released in Japan, but I have been hearing a September release for U.S. That's also when Vol. 2 comes out in Japan.
