I, for all I can remember, have never had a nightmare. Seriously, if I ever had one, I don't rememebr it, or even remember waking up sweating/screaming/terrified. Is this normal? Not even as a kid do I remember having one. Is this possible? Then again, I don't remember any of my dreams. I can only recall about a half dozen or so dreams where I actually remember some detail. I just don't do well with dreams. Also, I heard that people have many, many dreams (could be dozens) every night, and if you only rememebr the one you were having when you woke up, if you remember that at all. Makes you wonder what was going on in the 80 million other dreams you had that night. I've never had a lucid dream where I was aware or in control. Maybe I just have boring dreams. I need to start eating really spicy stuff before I go to bed, and maybe I'll start having freakish dreams. Where's the habanero sauce?

Quote:

well YOU try to find something that rhymes with museum

Well uh, heres some off the top of me head; mausoleum, geranium, minimum, maximum, decorum, forum, auditorium, ultimatum, aquarium and a whole lot of element names (eg. plutonium). Whether you can put them in a poem to form a coherent line is up to your skill.
Here's a typical one of mine:

Picture a clear blue slightly cloudy day. Youre in a valley with green grass and trees. A lot like earth but the trees are a slightly diffrent shape. More like a weeping willow type of tree. nestled in the valley is a large lake clear blue lake. The view shifts upwards towards the sky as the silence is shattered. A circular blue rift appears in the sky. Picture a round blue hole in the sky with ripples around it's edges and the hinting of space and stars through the openning.
Ejecting itself through the opening is the Raven.

The Raven is a ship design that I've been working on for some time. It's in trouble. Surrounded by a blue forcefiled and spininning end over end the ship is flying on a ballistic arc. The view changes to first person, I'm in the cockpit. I'm wearing a space suit with a closed visor. HUD displays are scrolling across the cockpit viewscreen and my visor. The only thing keeping the ship from being torn apart by the atmosphere is the shields. I struggle with the controls as the ship gyrates wildly. I'm feeling frantic. The shields are almost at their limit. Steering rockets at the nose cone and at other locations fire.

The world stabalises I'm flying straight but I'm losing altitude fast. The belly thrusters aren't working. With a loud crash the shields collapse. I spy the lake. I know that I'm going to have to land on it and get close to shore to commit repairs. I line up on the lake and head in. The wings line up and slice into the water. Twin roostertails of water shoot up. I've gotta keep the nose up. I slam the engines into reverse. Jets of flame come shooting out of the inlets as the engines scream. The nose slowly lowers until it makes contact, The engines are glowing white hot as they touch the water. Massive geysers of steam erupt.

After a few second I'm slowing down. The left engine gives a sortof a cough and I hear an explosion inside as the left engine dies. The ship spins. I find myself doing donuts across the lake. I catch glimpses of a spinning shoreline. Then with a crunch that rocks me forward the Raven and I slam to a halt. My head slams forward and I feel an intense pain in my neck.
Nanorobots inside my body get to work. Within seconds they repair the damage. I have the Nanobots inside of me, they are capable of healing almost anything. I can still be killed but I'm very hard to kill. I'm also capable of ejecting them, to manufacture tools and equipment. If I can visualise it, I can make it. Some things take a lot of steps to do though. Some through practice I can do at one step.
I painfully unbuckle the harness that I'm strapped into. Slowly my chair slides out away from the control panel and rotates. I hear hisses from water touching still red hot MEHTUL. I still hurt. Opening the cockpit door leading to the main hull I follow a cloud of smoke. The ships on fire and I have to put it out. Automatic fire suppression kicks in. It's like trying to walk through a hot, monsoon. luckly I'm still in the suit, it helps protect me. I switch over to IR viewing, I grab a fire extinguisher as I prepare to enter the engine room. I open the door and a blast of heat that I can feel through the space suit rips through and around me. Flames 10 feet high are licking at the ceiling. The fire suppresion system is doing it's best but it can't cut it.
I start wielding the fire extinguisher like a mad man. Franticly to the left and right I wield it. Like a sword of cold the extinguisher goes. I'm winning but it's not fast enough. I concentrate and a blue sparkling mist apears over my left arm, The Nanos are forming another extinguisher. They succeed. Now two swords of cold are at my command. The flames are extinguished. I breath a sigh of relief. Minor fires are still there, but they are being dealt with.

I hear a loud banging on the airlock door the natives have arrived.

edited for a little more clarity. My dreams are well, action packed. When My picture of the Raven is complete, I'll show you it.

[...unWARP!!!]

Good evening.

This was a recent one.

I dreamed I was watching on TV two shuttles that were next to a 300 km high tower, exchanging something flammable, because there were fireballs forming near them. The cameraman was apparently of a Latin American network, but there was no sound or commentary. Suddenly, there was a huge explosion that engulfed both shuttles, and the fireball continued expanding. The cameraguy panicked and somehow started descending the tower at a high speed, keeping focused on the approaching fire and debris above him, kinda like the Millenium Falcon Escape scene from Return of the Jedi.

I wanted to hear something of what was happening, so I changed to CNN where the anchorguy simply couldn't find words to describe the disaster.

Suddenly, I was on the ground, some distance from the base of the tower. It took several minutes for the debris to come into view and start crashing down, taking a plane with them. A bus seemed to bounce when a huge segment crashed as well.

I don't know for how long the debris continued to crash, but before anything else could happen....

....my alarm clock went off...

I have very funny ones when I'm dozing off, but I can't remember them.

Until next time, remember:

I AM THE J.A.M.

Good evening.

[WARP!!!]

I understood Bendarr's dream. do I need a doctor?
anyway, it sounds like a cool RP oppurtunity.

and...

J.A.M., what do you think woulda happened next? somehow I think something from the matrix... I don't know why.
Miyo! Chikara no chizu!

Living proof that Ninja and Pirates can live together in peace, harmony, and fun at the expense of ye hapless townsfolk.

"
< e
-|-|-/ <
< e
_________/
-------------------------
Hey... On page 375 it says "Jeebus"...
In that case, I'll write up part 2 then.
For some odd reasons my dreams have a tendency to build on themselves I find it better to write it into a text file and then paste it here. And I'll continue the work on the Raven.
