Ah, I see, I thought you meant that (kind of). The way I see it, the Christian God makes little sense; the world as it appears to us correlates pretty well with a god who either doesn't know/care about us, can't do anything about it, is a bit of a bastard or does not exist - none of which would apply to the Christian god.I meant if any god, other than the christian one, were to exist, it would be one unaffiliated with any religion. Gods like allah and sun gods and shit are stupid.
Take another religion, though; let's say Jainism. Jainists believe that every soul has the possibility to become conscious as God, and experience infinite knowledge, perception, power and bliss. They do not believe that there was ever any creator, nor do they believe that any divine beings intervene; they believe that the universe regulates itself. Does this idea of God not seem more sensible than the Christian one?
