Actually I consider it only marginally better than the comic, myself. I dunno. I'm really not a mcgruder fan.

I've seen some of the book collections and I tried to watch some of the show but it just didn't interest me.

From what I've heard, the show is very inconsistent in quality. You could be laughing your tail off one night and fully unimpressed the next.
