Ahh, now I see...

Wait, isn't Splinter Cell some human spy guy, not an alien with three green eyes?

Thanks.

That last shot was a silhoutte (SP?). This one I actually drew his face in, as well as added a few lines. I still consider it a practice piece, though.

Monarx, have you tried putting something behind that page when you scan it? That might stop the lettering from showing up, I'm not entirely sure though.

If worst came to worse, you could always photoshop it out, though I've found that pencil sketchs sometimes produce very soft edged lines in scans that make filling them in hard.

For my I picture, I think I need to work on being able to sketch faces at different angles. I think that pic shows my e-inking is okay, though (the face wasn't based off a sketch).

By the way, I did the background using a texture brush in Picture Publisher 7. I'm assuming that since the program includes that texture, I'm allowed to use it for free, right?

I also should try and find another way of doing the text. What I have now works, but it sometimes doesn't show up well against the background.

First off, that's a pretty nice drawing NL.

Second, I did try that, NL, but it stayed the same.

Third, any suggestions for other drawings? Too lazy to think.

Aside from that, all I can really quibble is the chevrons around the sides, the brightness obscures the detail on them.

But hey! I couldn't get anything half as good done Nice work Bendarr!

Good points there, when I have time I'm gonna have to work on it. Right now though, I'm in the proccess of redesigning the Raven's landing gear. The old design was way too spindly. I think the the problem with the cheverons is the texture that I used. The first attempts wound up with black ones, and the brighter MEHTUL ones are indeed a bit too shiny. Perhaps a set of semi-gloss grey may work. And I think a resizing of the warp texture that I developed maybe in order to avoid the overlap problem. Hmmmm. I'll have to think about it. I appreciate the input. Thanks.
We're sorry but the number that you have dialed is imaginary....Please turn your phone 90 degrees and try again.

I forgot to take the necessary precautions to let this one allow linking, so you'll have to copy and paste the address (the link doesn't actually work, that's the board automatically making my adress a link):

http://www.freewebs.com/skipper007/maxc ... br>warning: This one is big, so try not to refresh too much, okay? I don't want bandwidth problems (though I do have 500MB a month, so this shouldn't be too big a concern).
