As much as I love Ozy and Millie, I have to agree with the previous three posts. When I read today's strip and realized that the previous arc was indeed over, I thought, "That's it?" With all the raw emotion Millie showed, it seemed as if DCS was building this story up to some big dramatic climax, but instead it just fizzled out. This story has powerful moments, but the ending just isn't satisfying. And yes, I know that real life often ends up that way, but real life doesn't have talking dragons.

Also, the more I think about this story, the more plot holes I notice. Was anyone else bothered that Dr. Wahnsinnig just happened to be conveniently absent when Millie needed her the most? And where was Llewellyn during all this? And for that matter, has Jeremy bullied any other kids besides Ozy and Millie, and if so, why don't they speak up?

Sorry to make my first post full of complaints. As I said above, I love Ozy and Millie. In fact, I love it so much that I can't help but be disappointed when the strip comes close to greatness, and then barely misses it. I hope I don't sound like Comic Book Guy; I just want O&M to be the best strip it can be.

Who says it's over? It wouldn't be the first time it come to some sort of conclusion at the weekend, only to continue the next week.

Well, Avery would consider it uncool to tell, and Stephan is too distracted by his laptop to lend a voice. The only other characters we know who might be bullied are Stephanie, Emily, and Stevie, and they seem to keep to themselves. (I'm assuming that Jeremy doesn't go after Timulty. Even he must have standards.)

Jeremy may also go after those other students that we know are in the background but never are given names or aren't ever seen.

Even if those students complain of bullying it isn't exactly relevant in this situation.

Heh, I just now noticed the Green Day reference in the title.

Dangit, I seriously need to find a good animator to do up that theme song sequence we'd been talking about! I only know one offhand who'd I'm on friendly terms with and I suspect he doesn't like Ozy and Millie.

I'm not familiar with this. Elaborate, please.

well I think we can safely say NOW that it's over. Unless Jeremy happens by and looks at Millie's latest invention.

I'm glad others are as disappointed as I was. Not because I like it when people are disappointed but because ... well I hate it when I'm the only one who feels one way XD

I still have a feeling though that we are going to see something else happens. It wouldn't be the first time that a "story" isn't resolved until a bit later.

I think Mark might have meant what animated whoozit. A while back, IAmAWaffle had this idea that "Minority" would make a great theme song if Ozy and Millie ever became a TV show. He and I then proceeded to map out how the opening sequence that accompanies it would go. It was pretty rockin', but it was just words. I still hope to find someone to make it into an animated reality. (The theme song, not the whole show. Though that would rule too.)

That would be cool. Is there a thread for this here with the planning for the opening sequence?
I'm not going to pick up on your sarcasm...

Hmm...

Give me about, say, 20 years to build up my career in directing and establish a reputation, and I might seriously get back to you on that idea.

I'm pretty handy with flash... though it took me ages just to make a few hand drawn and animated frames.
