Actually, it's a mix of green and blue somewhere between cyan and turquoise. Like this one.

Hmmm.. I think I can account for the specs of white in them, not to be picky or what not. Save the inked image as a monochrome bitmap in MSpaint. Then, open that file, and save it again as a color bitmap. It should work just fine after that. Oh, and when you're finished, so you can change the colors and what not, save it as a .png image, which is better than .gif or .jpg, and is more internet-friendly than a bitmap.

1. i always use PNG now
2.i dont need to do all that to get rid of the white specs, id just need to zoom in REALLY close and fill in every white pixel.
3. and in some cases the white spots make it look cooler in my opinion, just look at my avatar, he has a pocket thats on one side of his jacket. without the white specs youd never be able to distinguish it.

If you can get a program that can support layers, you can paint over those edges without removing them - just do so on a layer set to "Multiply". (Yes, this is the same colouring technique as used by the House Rules staff)

well i can't get a program of that type. it either crashes my comp or costs money. Besides Photo Impact can work Wonders!

On the GIMP: Does it actually crash your computer, or just itself?

Also, you can get Photoshop for free, if you know the right channels...
