Hear that? That's the sound of all the furries on Second Life beating a path to your door to ask you to make avatars for them.

just charge em $18 a hour for it...would be undercharging though...if i made stuff that that good looking at work, i'd be making more than that...

Google Sketchup???
Even so I doubt it can import Maya Binary files or types. I looked again. There aren't any loose polygons.
UPDATE:
I remade the body texture using a much higher resolution map. Now it looks better.

Yes yes, the additions are hard to tell but I painted ink lines into his texture so he is now more optimized and cleaner looking.

Sketchup is like the VLC Media player of 3d programs. It will load anything, even if it can't read it.Google Sketchup???

There's no lose polygons? That's strange, the pictures really say otherwise. I guess it's the shading. Can I see the model anyways? I'm curious how you structured it.

Well once you know some of the basic features it becomes mostly straight forward and progressive. His head started out as a 12 sided sphere and a 12 sided cylinder basic objects and I just kept merging pieces, added the nose, made the eye holes, ect. Its a bit like sculpting though mostly by mouse and individual objects. Though the head still took me several days to make. Thanks for the comment
