Worst Day of The Year

Well, surely not all birds fly south for the winter. For one thing, I can still run into geese on campus at this time of year. (Not recommended - they attack. <!--emo&:blink:--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... /blink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='blink.gif' /><!--endemo--> Hard.)

I know what you mean about geese. I once found myslef fleeing from about 7 geese and 23 ducks. Suffice it to say I didn't bring enough bread for everyone.

The worse part is, you can't fight back. Not when they're <i>Canada</i> geese.

Ok, not all birds fly south, but a significant amount do. Enough to make everyone know about that bit of information. As for why it's called snow, I can't be sure obviously, I'm just guessing here, but it may be to do with the fact that winter is associated with snow.

Frankly, the side effects, which included lethargia, nightmares, depression and suicidal thoughts (some mood stablizer, it acted more like a tranquilizer) were worse than the withdrawal. I just treated the withdrawal with a good dose of comfort foods. I'm lucky my comfort foods are all healthy ones. (Chicken noodle soup, egg noodles, raw vegetables in this case carrots, Hot cocoa, rice and popcorn.)<br><br>I was anxious on the 24th, but that's all.
