A Christian would probably say that each person has to find that out and resolve it themselves. They have to make the effort and find the correct path.Why would he send non-believers who are good people to purgatory when he can just give people proof that he exists?
I've read something similar in a pro-atheist book; if God is believed to be without beginning or end and having created the universe, is it so hard to believe the universe itself is without beginning or end, constantly going through rebirths? Without requiring a deity.They do not believe that there was ever any creator, nor do they believe that any divine beings intervene; they believe that the universe regulates itself.
