Bocaj. <br><br><b>Not</b> to be confused with the "bocage" area of northern France that the allies fought through in the initial stages of Operation Overlord. The Bocage's tall hedges and narrow lanes made it ideal country to defend (as many allied personel found) but eventually weight in numbers won the battle of Normandy.
