Remember, don't try this at home.<br><br>Where'd "Folgers" come from? I know it translates as coffee to a lot of people, but it is more of a Midwest US institution. Just interesting, coming from an author who hails from Starbucks-land.<br><br><br><br>

I see no one remembers the commercials where "we secretly replaced the normal coffee served with Folger's crystals...let's see if they can tell the difference". (Gawd...I'm showing my age, aren't I?)<br><br>Anyways, glad to see the NA back in action again! Though...isn't putting laxative in coffee kinda redundant?

In the village stores and the bush order catalogs, you could buy it in 15 pound (7 kg) tins. If you were ordering it, it came in cartons of 6 tins . . . a lot of cheap coffee.
