A animation is a possibility However I would probably change the water area to some sort of Dry land in order to reduce the rendering time further. As it is the one that you see here took about a half hour to render. so assuming 10 frames per second and a short 5 second animation, it would take a while for the animation to be completed. I also have one other problem. I don't have a website that would allow me to store it anywhere for other people to look at it. But I'll have to think about it. I already have some animations done of the Raven for example that are a few megs in size. maybe 5-6 megs each already done. Hmm, that gives me an idea. Perhaps having the Gator coming out of the Stargate is a possibility for a animation. oh by the way, already finished the Re-rendering of the stargate with a nice nebula in the background. you'll also note that I changed the water texture and the warp effect texture as well.

Ah, I see <img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... /smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /> Hope I'm not overstepping any bounds by giving some constructive criticism <img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... unsure.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='unsure.gif' /> but the cool new water effect seems to run over onto the Stargate proper, which looks a lil' odd. Aside from that, all I can really quibble is the chevrons around the sides, the brightness obscures the detail on them. But hey! I couldn't get anything half as good done <img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' /> Nice work Bendarr!
