Dude you're going for a sales job. If you need luck, may God have mercy on your soul.
I wouldn't be able to get it. The working world hates me and is trying to keep me out for as long as possible.

It must've worked dudes, I'm now an IT guy!

That's right, Roo-who-knows-pants-all-about-computers is being trained to perform PC Maintainence...

45 hours a week, minimum wage, working weekends...yeah, this blows...

Grats man! Use the money you earn to buy stuff.
That which does not kill me, cripples me for life.

Sounds sucky. :-/ Better fortune in the future mate.

Well, at least you'll be learning how to not make computers blow up. Or are they teaching you how to put a blown-up computer back together?

Aah, I must have misread your original post. Had I known, I would have wished you luck. Sorry dude. :(

Anyway, that job sounds like it sucks but I guess it's cool that you have one... the experience you earn here will help you to get a "real" job someday, and then from there there's no telling where you'll go! :)

Thanks to everyone for all the posative waves! I felt them like an ocean, draining me in get-up-and-go.

Yeah, I'm planning on working there until I can get my NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) in Computer Maintainence then I'm gone.
Sounds sucky. :-/ Better fortune in the future mate.
Haha, yeah. The work isn't sucky, but the hours are a pantsless nightmare right now...my friend Dave, who works a similar job up the street is already packing it in and quitting...
Whatever it takes, don't let it affect your comic. I'm a big fan of Woods For The Trees.
Well, sorry dude but I gotta...I'm taking away Wednesday's update as it's too much drawing three a week right now...I'm not the sort of cartoonist that can actually sit down and draw one out in one go, sketched, inked, and photoshopped...I usually do it over the course of a day, which when I was unemployed or at Uni was easy...but now...

Sorry man, but it's gonna be Monday and Friday updates for the time being.

Would you feel better knowing there are people who work more than twice as many hours in a week as you? Not just in developing areas, either: I know of an American doctor clocking in 100 hours a week (at least, he did in 2001).
