The quotation marks in Timulty's speech bubble make me feel like I'm reading an essay and it is an unpleasant feeling.

I assume the quotation marks are there to indicate the "Kool-Aid" brand.The quotation marks in Timulty's speech bubble make me feel like I'm reading an essay and it is an unpleasant feeling.
