Apparently the start of a 'Karma and Cocoa' arc.

My only question is why Millie has hot cocoa at school. Would they sell that in the lunch line?

Or they might have vending machines that sell it. Also, Jeremy is apparently stealthy like a ninja rabbit.
Thus begins a series in which I had to put a lot of effort into remembering to draw the cocoa stain on Millie's overalls. I forget which one, but one of the strips in this storyline was originally posted with the stain, which is of course central to the plot, mysteriously missing in one of the panels. (I corrected it right away.)

Or she brought a thermos of hot cocoa to school with her.

Why would you bring logic into this?

I like this arc enough to ignore the fact that there isn't a reason for her to have a mug of coco at school

I wouldn't have even noticed if she didn't specify that it was a mug (which is it, rather than a thermos or something). And it was really the only thing I had to even say about this particular strip. (Other than asking why Millie isn't in pain from spilling hot chocolate on herself, but I'll give it a pass for not wanting to show little children in horrible pain.)

Notice that her paws are wrapped around the mug, indicating the cocoa has cooled off to the point where it would not be hot enough to burn her. Also, being a fox cub, Millie has a layer of thick fur between her skin and her clothing, so that would give her some degree of protection.
