Also in black and white in the book so it loses some impact.In designing the surreal other world inside Llewellyn's couch cusions, I was trying for something along the lines of Pepperland, in the Beatles' movie "Yellow Submarine."
I'm not sure surreal for surreal's sake was something in which I could ever have sustained a long term interest, but it was something different and it was fun to draw.
