I had a friend who was working as a telemarketer for a time. Apparently, if you do not finish your spiel, or at least make a concentrated effort to do so, you run a rather high risk of being fired.

Most telemarketer calls I get these days are recorded messages so I can't even mess with them like Llewellyn does.
