I'm kind of miffed that the person giving this monologue is a child. This isn't a monologue that you give to a child character. Especially such a wordy one.

You know what? The dentist should have been a species that doesn't have teeth, by the same logic under which music teachers in the strip tend to be species that are physically incapable of playing the instruments I give them. A duck, maybe.

I agree. But on top of that, I don't get the punchline. Why is the dentist afraid of Llewellyn? Because he's a dragon? A bad patient? Or what?

Fear is not an illusion, it's a very helpful emotion that enables you to deal with overwhelming trauma in the best way you can.
