That was a quick trial. Jeremy must have the worst lawyer in the world.
Judging by her response to $700 worth of ice cream, I'm not so sure.I don't think Millie necessarily wants to eat all that food. I think she just wants to see it all in one place.

It does kind of irk me that this comic very much feels like, "Have I just commited to drawing several long lengthy court scenes, eep quick cut to a funny cut away ending!"

I think DCS had just gotten bored with the storyline. I know I was.
But, yeah. Funny ending. Since Millie has her paw in her mouth I guess she DOES want to eat all that food!
