I can't imagine this turning out well. 'This' referring to both Avery's religion and the arc's ultimate conclusion.

Millie goofed. Televangelists don't run around, they sit or stand in a TV studio. It's the street preachers who run around.

This could have been an interesting arc to revisit later on. One of the shames of Ozy and Millie is how side characters have increasingly less relevance as it goes on.
I'm not sure where people in O&M keep finding socks. No one seems to wear any.
