Llewellyn later went on to perfect the art of smoke caricature and would display it to interested neighbours during PTA meetings and church picnics.

Y'know, that actually sounds like something he would do, just to disrupt the meeting. I mean, he drugged the punch at the kids' graduation party thing.
Random weirdness. Llewellyn is sort of a benign, idiosyncratic version of the idle rich.
