Ugh. I hate it when a strip that doesn't usually break the fourth wall dedicates an entire strip to talking to the audience. It's rarely clever or funny, it's disorienting, and it's pretty boring visually because it's just a character staring straight ahead talking.

Tied-up Avery in the last panel is good though.

Avery bondage. Not sure if want.
"My name is Ozymandias" is, of course, a reference to the poem "Ozymandias," by Percy Bysshe Shelley, for which Ozy is named. ("My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings. Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!")

True.

Also true.

I love how DCS makes a huge deal about "My name is Ozymandias" the line. Does this mean that Ozy is referencing poetry every time he formally introduces himself? Oh! Maybe he says the full things every time he introduces himself. Like when he went to school the first day:

"We have a new student, class! Could you be a dear and introduce yourself?"
"Sure. *hem* My name is Ozymandius." *pause* "KING OF KINGS! Look upon my works, ye mighty, and DESPAIR!"
...
"...damn it not another one."

Kind of lends credence to why Ozy is sent to the psychiatrists office later this year...

I remember one of the earliest Ozy and Millie strips had Ozy gloating that people couldn't come up with ICEBURN rhymes of his name.

I thought the first panel was pretty funny.

Are you kidding, I'd love it if everyone had some elaborate way to introduce themselves. It reminds me of that one Calvin and Hobbes strip where a confident Calvin announces to his mom that from now on he wants to be adressed as "Calvin - BOY OF DESTINY!" and that she should pause after "Calvin" and also carry some cymbals to crash together after she says it. Her mother just commented that maybe she'd stop introducing him at all.

Oh, don't get me wrong, that would be absolutely fantastic if Ozy introduced himself like this every time. I'm just extrapolating that the teacher wouldn't be too appreciative of it.
