A few years after this I had the job of teaching news writing to college students. This included teaching them to write TV news, and it actually fell on me to explain to them not to include too much in the way of facts or details, because people wouldn't absorb it.

I already didn't care for TV news, but that clinched it for me.

If this was CNN then Ozy would not only have to not give details but he would have to make sure his news story is less important then the scroll at the bottom of the screen.
