This seems like an odd way for the conversation to go. Shouldn't be more like:

"You've eaten a lot of those chips."
"Mm. Have I?"
"Yes." *pause* "Can I maybe... have some, before they're all gone?"

Conversation prior to this strip:
Ozy: Millie you fatass, stop hogging all the snacks.
Millie: Pfft, I paid for them. Maybe you'll bring your own snacks next time.
Ozy: I hope you die of dehydration.
Millie: That's a random and stupid thing to say.

And then the strip starts.
Didn't they crack down on this, later? I know when I buy cans of soda pop now, I no longer have my intelligence insulted by the claim that each can contains two servings.

I would love to see Ozy call Millie a fatass, especially during his anorexic period. Someone draw that.

Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

That's nice, very realistic. But you see, this is a comic, we need some semblance of humour.

500ml soft drink bottles here claim to contain two 250ml servings, and the large government-mandated nutritional information label gives the information for one serving, making it seem like you're not killing yourself quite so rapidly.

But then the next panel could have been Millie shooting a cow because it was looking at her funny. Then it would be HILARIOUS.
