Oi, Avery, why'd you unplug the system just to show it to your brother and try to make a point? That seems kinda... silly.
But this is still very cute. I like it.

I wonder if GoG.com has "Duke Nukem Blows Up Everything" in their catalogue. It's as close to DNF as I'll ever get.

Silly Avery. Duke Nukem Blows Up Everything was scheduled to be released after Duke Nukem Forever.
They say of very small children that they'll always be more entertained by the box than by the expensive toy. Kids have simple (and sometimes unpredictable) tastes. It's something that I think is to be admired and encouraged.
Timulty has twin roles in the strip -- to represent innocence and simplicity, and to annoy the pants off Aver, which is why Avery doesn't wear any pants.

the concept and setup seems kind of lame to me, but the last two panels are totally worth it.

Do the little who prefer the simple things rather then video games actually exist anywhere? Cause it seems like ever since Pokemon was invented kids have had gameboys glued to their faces until they turn 13.

They used to; give a little kid a field and a ball and they'll be entertained for hours. Used to, anyway; but the smaller children I see nowadays either has a PSP or a DS or even a flippin' cell phone, what the hell do they need a cell phone for? Ridiculous. Back in my day--

I'm 19... And I just bought HeartGold (if only they weren't out of SoulSilver

)... Anyway... I like this strip its cute. But man... GS were awesome back in '99... Still... It rather bothered me when this kid (he was about 6 maybe 7 or 8 ) couldn't read what people were saying in the RS series, he asked me to explain it to him. That shows a kid too young for video games, when he can't even understand whats being said.

You know, there's a little label on the back of every Pokemon game that says "Basic reading ability is needed to fully enjoy this game." I always thought it was stupid, but I guess not...
