Given those two I'm not even sure why this would raise suspicion.

The scissors and pile of hair on the floor maybe? Actually, how'd they put together that outfit in twenty seconds? I'm almost impressed.
This is, astute readers will have noticed, not the first Carmen Miranda-esque fruit hat Millie has introduced into the strip. I don't know why that kept coming up.
That which does not kill me, cripples me for life.

I like Llewellyn's puzzled look of disbelief.

Llewellyn and Ms. Mudd were going on dates (even innocent ones) in the first year of the strip.

The whole Llewellyn/Ms. Mudd thing was by far the lamest thing in this strip's whole run.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

I thought it was alright when it was just a kind of passive background thing, like their children are best friends so they naturally go to lunch with each other to talk and stuff, that's what parents do. I didn't even read the final year because it was so horrible though.
