Yes, yes.

Okay, so the blatant ripping fro Calvin & Hobbes peters off now, but I've always liked this particular arc, it's marvelously silly. (Kind of funny, because so far I'm really not a fan of the Ozy Loses His Hair strips, and I've been caving and reading ahead to the subsequent years' 'Balding of Ozy' stories. Not impressed. I feel like DCS was just trying too hard on them.)

The first time, the joke was funny. When it is repeated though, it gets stale very fast.

especially when you read them all right next to each other -__-

I'm pretty sure reading them in a row is exactly what you're not supposed to do. The way they're intended to be read is in a row, whilst doing a handstand and balancing a muppet on your feet.

Well, you're supposed to read an arc all at once. I think the rutabega was referring to my jumping ahead and reading a couple of them in a row, as opposed to going through at the year-long break that it originally was when posted.

I'm not talking about it getting old. I mean I'm just not impressed with the arcs themselves. But again, I'm not exactly a fan of shaving, shaven Ozy's design, or extended jokes about somebody's nude humiliation (which this basically is). Some of the other arcs I've looked at years ahead have been enjoyable, but I'm not too enthused about this particular running gag. *shrug*

He does look like Michael Stipe. That's weird.

there was fanart once where OM was drawn as REM, and Ozy was Michael Stipe. Don't know where a copy of the image is, but the thread is here.

You know, Ozy was less skinny with no fur in 1998 than he is fully fluffed in 2006. All the characters have gotten thinner, but him especially.
I don't have any clue who Michael Stipe is. This kind of name-dropping sort of spoils some of the earlier Ozy and Millie strips for me.

See Bocaj, there's this thing called the internet, and while it may hold vast amounts of unnecesary and potentially embarassing stuff, it also has massive resource and information gathering options. You can use it to find interesting things you never even knew existed.

Well, I looked him up and he certainly is bald. Like Ozy. Ha ha.
