I enjoy the bait-and-switch nature of these kinds of jokes, but I just wish that the zebra in panel 3 didn't immediately look angry so we'd get the visual gag of total mood dissonance between the last two panels, and not just the verbal gag + some artwork.
Still, I like it.

Millie looks pretty badass in the first panel. Great song, too.
8/10

I don't get what you mean about the third panel? why would the teacher not be annoyed already in the third panel
all In all I like this one too, I agree the first panel is well drawn

The zebra is Mr. Larnblat. I don't know the song.

I like this strip though. It's pure Millie!

it's a nirvana song. Even if you don't know it, I hope you were able to get the general joke from the lyrics

The ironic thing about this strip is that I'm pretty sure Kurt Cobain didn't like Nevermind (album where that song is from) BECAUSE he thought it was their sellout album.

He's dead, Jim.

No, logically speaking, he should be annoyed. I just mean for a visual contrast. You can have this entire joke; the thing can be done with just word balloons and it wouldn't change anything. I'm just saying that changing the expression would make a little visual joke as well, instead of getting the
completely static image of the zebra that we get here.
I mean, look at him. I know they're hand-drawn at this stage, but that Zebra is practically copy-pasted; the
exact same between the two panels. Again, a visual medium no-no unless you're using it for something.

I believe he did end up coming to terms with the album at about the same time he began embracing his fame, shortly before he killed himself.

Kurt Cobain had a history of depression and suicide that began before Nirvana was even formed.

A history of suicide? That's quite a feat.

I want to name an album "A History of Suicide" now.

I've heard of "dying a thousand deaths", but this is ridiculous.

I don't know if you're just using "copy-paste" to emphasise the unchanging pose of Mr. Larnblatt but if you look carefully it's actually not literally copy-paste.
I'd have liked to see something more visually different though I'll admit.
