Llewellyn, of course, does not involuntarily or constantly give off fumes, unless it's convenient to the plot or the gag for him to do so. In this way, and really only this way, he resembles Pepe LePew.

Isn't what WEIRD old people do usually looked upon as cool by little kids? Maybe they have to be untainted by commercialism unlike Avery.
