Ehh, not very funny in my opinion. Also, this is one strip that couldn't be done when the art style changed because the design of the feet weren't oval-like anymore.

They must have bought those at the pumpernickel roll store. The store that labels its bags with the only product they sell because otherwise the bag wouldn't be accurate.

I always label my raccoon-feet bag "Pumpernickel rolls". Scares the hell out of the kids.

Jack, you are right up in DCS' wavelength.
I couldn't do this gag, today, since Avery's feet no longer resemble pumpernickel rolls.
I think the strip is kind of cute. I tend to like the ones with Timulty.

The Bloomingdale's stores label their paper bags "Medium Brown Bag", "Large Brown Bag", etc. I guess they don't have much confidence in the judgement of their cashiers. :laugh:
