I think Avery is on to something. Religion that has its tenets decided by those who attend. It would require the masses to determined what is important to them spiritually and would be able to change according to the times.

Modern-day Jews and Christians don't follow the Old Testament all that much, e. g. no animal sacrifices and such.

I'm actually not sure Ozy's correct. I'm a believer in the democratic process and all that, but majorities produce results that kind of seem to discredit the idea on a pretty regular basis.

I like reading DCS's comments on his comics. His sentence structure and word choice is always so nice.
