I have an uncle with a very similar sense of humor. When I was little I was convinced he was going to kill me. Ah, good times. (Said uncle is now one of my favorite relatives.)
I like how Llewellyn likes to traumatize kids. And how Ozy has apparently heard this joke before.
That which does not kill me, cripples me for life.

If I were Llewellyn, I wouldn't have expected Stephan (or anyone else) to take the joke seriously. Certainly Llewellyn would have done somebody in the community some harm by now if he were genuinely malevolent.
